BEST PRACTICES

Use the document to locate topics and preserve historical context, not as the only current implementation source.
Compare each syntax with TDN and the LIB, AppServer and SmartClient versions in use.
When sources differ, current official documentation and supported-version behavior take priority.
PDF typographical errors will not be reproduced as instructions; they will be corrected or flagged during review.
Destructive operations such as DbZap() and DbPack() will require explicit warnings before receiving pages.
Unverified items were added to the catalog as “Coming soon” and identified as historical references.

COMMON PITFALLS

The eADVPL name and several commands indicate a technological context older than current Protheus.
Some entries contain mismatched syntax, including ASize, Len and Empty.
Historical visual constants and device resources may not exist or may behave differently today.
Missing examples will not be invented without validation from another reliable source.
A historical reference does not prove current support or recommend use in new code.
