AdvPL command index by group

Groups a selected command and declaration lookup path.

AdvPL command index by groupAdvPL
01 · OVERVIEW

Overview

This editorial index separates routine declarations (FUNCTION/USER FUNCTION), control flow (LOOP/EXIT) and service declarations (WSDATA/WSMETHOD/WSRESTFUL). Called functions such as ValType() do not become commands by appearing in the same source. The SDK general index returned no readable body, so this is not a complete reproduction. Specific references support these groups; related links lead to detailed entries. (Sources: refs. 1–3.)

03 · PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Commented example

// Lookup path; do not compile this index.
// Routines: USER FUNCTION -> U_name calling convention
// Flow: LOOP -> next iteration; EXIT -> leaves the loop
// Services: check SOAP and REST dialects separately
Expected result

Navigation map without execution effects. Index under review: this lookup path is not executable code and does not establish current contracts for the listed items.

BEST PRACTICES
  • Syntax and includes vary by declaration. Do not combine SOAP/REST examples solely because command names overlap.
  • Index under review: this lookup path is not executable code and does not establish current contracts for the listed items.
