Opens the legacy Protheus print manager.

OurSpoolAdvPL
01 · OVERVIEW

Overview

The historical manual describes OurSpool loading disk reports from the MV_RELT directory. A filename can select one report; prose and parameter table conflict on requiredness while syntax marks it optional. It does not generate the report itself or prove physical printing. This example only prepares a call for an existing test report. (Sources: refs. 1–1.)

02 · SYNTAX

Syntax

OurSpool([cArquivo]) -> NIL

Parameters

cArquivo
CharacterOptional

Previously generated disk report; optional in historical syntax.

Return value

NIL according to the historical reference.

03 · PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Commented example

#Include "Protheus.ch"

User Function Ed564()
    // Requires a test report and UI; block not invoked.
    Local bSpool := {|cFile| OurSpool(cFile)}
    ConOut(ValType(bSpool))
Return Nil
Expected result

Prints B; opens or sends no report. Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.

BEST PRACTICES
  • Check report format, directory, permissions and compatible client. Separate generation, preview and print submission; do not open arbitrary external content.
  • Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.
