PswSeek

PswSeek(cId,[lUsuario]) -> lFound

Positions a legacy user or group search

PswSeekAdvPL
01 · OVERVIEW

Overview

Searches using the order selected by PswOrder. The manual uses .T. for users, the historical default, and .F. for groups. Names and IDs are not interchangeable keys without the matching order. Read PswID or PswRet only after successful Boolean return. The uninvoked block assumes the caller already selected the order. (Sources: refs. 1–1.)

Parameters

cId
CharacterRequired

Commented example

#Include "Protheus.ch"

User Function Ed606()
    // Uninvoked block: requires authorized context and credentials.
    Local bRead := {|cId| PswSeek(cId,.T.)}
    ConOut(ValType(bRead))
Return Nil
Expected result

Creates a block (type B), without querying, authenticating or changing users. Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.

BEST PRACTICES
  • Historical reference: verify API, permissions and context for the target release. Never log credentials or user arrays.
