SET ACTIVE FOLDER

SET ACTIVE FOLDER oFld OF oWnd

Activates an existing folder in the historical window.

SET ACTIVE FOLDERAdvPL
01 · OVERVIEW

Overview

Historical eAdvPL reference, section 3.7. Syntax depends on that implementation’s macros and platform; current SmartClient support is unconfirmed. OF identifies the owning window; oFld identifies a folder previously created with ADD FOLDER. Activation neither creates content nor confirms previous-page data. Check exit validation and focus. Do not substitute TFolder methods without checking their contract. (Sources: refs. 1–1.)

02 · SYNTAX

03 · PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Commented example

// Historical fragment: folder and window already exist.
SET ACTIVE FOLDER oFld OF oDlg
Expected result

Requests oFld activation in oDlg; the visual effect requires the historical implementation. Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.

BEST PRACTICES
  • Verify includes and graphical context in the target release. The fragment assumes the stated objects; it is not a complete application. Do not use in headless execution.
  • Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.
