SetArray
SetArray(oObj,aArray)Replaces a control’s data in historical eAdvPL.
Overview
Historical eAdvPL reference, section 3.25. Syntax depends on that implementation’s macros and platform; current SmartClient support is unconfirmed. The first argument is the object and the second is the new array. Distinguish this global function from FWBrowse/TCBrowse methods. The guide does not establish copying, sharing or selection preservation: test those behaviors in the selected implementation. Validate old indices after resizing. (Sources: refs. 1–1.)

Commented example
// Fragment: existing control and verified item shape.
Local aItems := {"A","B"}
SetArray(oObj,aItems)Supplies two items to the control; proves neither persistence nor deep copying. Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.
- Verify includes and graphical context in the target release. The fragment assumes the stated objects; it is not a complete application. Do not use in headless execution.
