Overview
Historical eAdvPL reference, section 3.30–3.31. Syntax depends on that implementation’s macros and platform; current SmartClient support is unconfirmed. SetText receives an object and text; SetFocus receives the target control. The source does not demonstrate automatic validation, bound-variable updates or VALID execution. Changing GET appearance does not replace model validation and persistence. The control must be visible and enabled for a focus request to make sense. (Sources: refs. 1–1.)
