VerSenha

VerSenha(nOption) -> lAllowed

Checks a historical user access option.

VerSenhaAdvPL
01 · OVERVIEW

Overview

The manual describes VerSenha(nOpc) as a logical check of an option enabled for the current user in Configurator. It does not receive a plaintext password. Its example uses 36 for base-date changes, not a universal current-release enumeration. The block takes a caller argument and does not check access without context. (Sources: refs. 1–1.)

02 · SYNTAX

Syntax

VerSenha(nOption) -> lAllowed

Parameters

nOption
NumericRequired

Access option to verify in the release.

Return value

03 · PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Commented example

#Include "Protheus.ch"

User Function Ed708()
    // Option must come from verified release documentation; block not invoked.
    Local bPermission := {|nOption| VerSenha(nOption)}
    ConOut(ValType(bPermission))
Return Nil
Expected result

Creates block B without validating passwords or granting access. Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.

BEST PRACTICES
  • Verify current authorization mechanisms. Do not replace authentication or service access rules with a historical number.
  • Under review: editorial example neither compiled nor run in Protheus. Check includes, release, RDD and context before testing.
